Profiling Exercise of 1 to 4 Acre Parish Model Farmers
On 14th February 2026 we successfully conducted the profiling exercise for the 1–4 Acre Parish Model Farmers Program in Kibaale District at Buseesa Community Demonstration Farm. The activity was well attended, with over 50 farmers participating.
During the exercise, farmers were profiled and trained on different agricultural enterprises, with a strong focus on efficient land use, enterprise selection, and practical approaches for maximizing productivity and income from small land holdings (1–4 acres).
The session was highly interactive and hands-on, enabling farmers to appreciate how proper planning, enterprise integration, and improved farming practices can lead to better household incomes even on limited land.
We appreciate the strong turnout and commitment from the farmers and look forward to continued engagement as we implement and scale the program in the district.
